Google is testing a feature that Twitter brings on Google News. It is not only the addition of tweets in the news mix, but a way for users to share their experiences with the people they follow on Twitter personalize. It makes sense that Twitter is integrated with Google News, and I would not be surprised to see this emerge as a real function, after the test.
The function consists of a box that you connect to your Twitter account name to see if people follow the news are talking about asks. According to Barry Schwartz on Search Engine Land, which provides the following screenshot, it only displays tweets from people who share content that are actually indexed by Google News. This makes sense, too.
